How can I check my Tele2 SIM expiration date and activate a 1 year service extension?

Quick answer:


1.

From Tracker App's targets list, tap the name for a dog that is using Tele2 SIM and then tap on "Tele2"


Small pop-up menu opens and allows you to use the activation code (1 year service extension) that you have bought from Tracker Retailer

- Tap "Use code" -> Enter the activation code you've bought -> Tap: OK


2. 

From that same pop-up menu you can buy 1year service extension if you are in Finland and can use Tracker Web Shop

If you are outside Finland (e.g. in some other European country), this option is not available


- Tap "Web Shop"

- Check if the phone number and other info is correct

- Tap: "Continue" and proceed with the purchase


In this later case, once the 1 year service extension is bought, it is also automaticly activated so no additional activation code is needed


More information:



For customers outside of Finland (or for those who have received an activation code)


- Open the Tracker application

- In the map view, tap the button in the lower right corner or swipe from the right side of the screen to the center of the map

- Tap "All targets"

- Tap "My devices"

- Tap at the name of the target (not the icon for the target)

- From the opening menu scroll down untill you find a menu item for the SIM card e.g. in this case "Tele2"

- Tap menu item "Tele2" to add 1 year service extension and use the activation code you bought from Tracker Retailer

- Now you have extended the service time for Tele2 SIM -card by 1 additional year


Once the activation code is used it extends the service time for the SIM in question. 

Once this is done, it has no further use anymore, so it is disposable once used



For customers in Finland


From that same pop-up menu you can buy 1year service extension if you are in Finland and can use Tracker Web Shop

Adjusting balance alarm limits


You can adjust the timer that gives an alarm when app reminds a customer to renew and extend Tele2 SIM card service time. To adjust the timer:


- Open the Tracker application
- In the map view, tap the button in the lower left corner or swipe from the left side of the screen to the center of the map
- The left side menu of the application opens

- Then scroll down the menu and select "Settings"
- Then select "Dislplay"

- Then scroll the opening menu all the way down until you see a menu item "Balance alert limits"

- From this menu item, tap and select "Tele2"

- You get a small pop-up menu where you can adjust the timer all the way up to a 100 days. By default it is set at 30 days
