I've bought a new Tracker Artemis GPS device - how can I add it to my Tracker App?

Quick answer:



- Open the menu on the right side of the App's map view, i.e. "Targets"-list
- This can be done with the button in the lower right corner, or by swiping from the right edge to the center of the screen
- Tap the plus-sign
- Select "Tracker Easy"
- Select "Read QR Code"
- The phone may ask "Can the Tracker take pictures and videos" -> Answer: "Allow"
- Guided by the app, take a photo of the QR code on the side of the GPS device or product package
- The Artemis GPS device you just registered appears in the "Targets" -list in the App

If the QR-code option is not available (sticker worn off or smudged etc.) you can follow instructions mentioned above and at the point where You tap the plus-sign, then instead of selecting "Tracker Easy", select "Register a new GPS device"

Then you can either use Your phone's camera to read the bar code or enter the long number sequence (IMEI-code) just below bar code manually by selecting "Enter Serial Number" and then proceed with "Tracker Easy" registration by following instructions given on App's screen there after


If you would like to change the display name for the target (the name shown on the map view)


- Open the menu on the right side of the App's map view, i.e. "Targets"-list
- This can be done either with the button in the lower right corner, or by swiping from the right edge to the center of the screen
- Tap "All targets"
- Tap the name of the Artemis GPS device (not the icon for the target)

- The "Settings" -menu for the target opens

- Tap the "Name" field on top of the menu

- Replace default name given with the one you would like to be shown on the map view for this target

- From this "Settings" menu, you can also change the owner and observer passwords used for this target
