The app combines the best features of both WeHunt and Tracker – and adds brand new ones that didn’t exist in either of them before. You’ll be able to manage the entire hunting process in one place: from planning and execution to follow-up. Built with the entire hunting community in mind, the app is designed to support everyone – from hunt leaders and dog handlers to stand shooters, stalkers, game wardens, landowners, outdoor enthusiasts, or more often, those who are a bit of everything. It’s one powerful tool that brings it all together – simpler, smarter and more future-proof.
What are the key features and transition highlights of WeHunt X?
WeHunt X brings together the best of WeHunt, Tracker and Burrel in a single app – designed to enhance your hunting experience, whether you’re tracking your dog, hunting with your team or alone, or simply managing your hunting area. The user experience has been improved based on real feedback from WeHunt and Tracker users. The app offers seamless integration of all three platforms, creating one strong and unified tool. Behind the scenes, the system is now more stable, scalable and secure. On the surface, you’ll find a completely new interface with better functionality and a more complete experience – offering both familiar features and brand new possibilities. Everything is designed to make hunting smarter, safer and easier for everyone.
What is most important for old Tracker users and communities in the transition to WeHunt X?

When can I switch to the new app and stop using the old one?
WeHunt X will be launched publicly in May. The app will continue to evolve and improve over time. The key is to reach a point where users feel that WeHunt X offers more value than the current app. When that happens will depend on each individual’s preferences. Natlink is committed to making WeHunt X better than the current Tracker and WeHunt apps – measured by NPS scores – no later than February 2026, when the old apps will be shut down. Important: Do not delete your current WeHunt app. After February 2026, this app will automatically become the new WeHunt. ‘WeHunt X’ is only the beta version, available from May 2025 to February 2026.”
Will the old app work with the new one? For example, if I choose to only use WeHunt X, will I still be able to see my friends and their dogs if they use the old app?
WeHunt X will not be compatible with the current WeHunt and Tracker apps. In order to see each other and fully use WeHunt X, your hunting buddies must also use the app.
Will the app be launched in May?
No, the final version will not be ready in May. Instead, we are moving from a closed beta to a public beta, where anyone can download and test WeHunt X. This phase is to ensure a smooth transition and give everyone a chance to get to know the app before it becomes the official version.
How long will the old apps be available?
The current Tracker and WeHunt apps will work until Feb 28, 2026. After that, you'll have all the best features in one easy-to-use and powerful app.
Do I have to do anything before the 25/26 hunting season starts?
Nothing will change until 28-Feb-2026. Everything will continue to work as usual until then. If you are curious, you can download WeHunt X and discover its features on Google Play and App Store.
What is the official name of the new app?
The new app is called WeHunt X during the testing period, but from February 2026 the official name will be WeHunt.
If I have an ongoing subscription in Tracker or WeHunt today, will it work in the new app?
Yes, all subscriptions that work in the current apps will also work in the new app. If you have an active subscription, there is nothing you need to do before or after February 2026 – just log in with your existing account. How long will my data be stored once the old apps are discontinued?
Your data in the current Wehunt and Tracker apps will be migrated. So when you log in with your account (whether from WeHunt or Tracker) in WeHunt after February 2026, all your data will be there.
Will I receive any notification before an update?
Yes, you will receive a message in the app asking you to update your WeHunt app.
What can I expect from the introduction?
When launched in May, WeHunt X will include several key features that are familiar to both WeHunt and Tracker users. Throughout the spring, summer, fall and winter, more features and details will be added continuously while the old applications run in parallel, giving the user the opportunity to switch to WeHunt X and take advantage of all the new and improved features whenever they want. But no later than February 2026, when the current WeHunt and Tracker will be discontinued. Features that were previously only available in the current Tracker app will now be available in WeHunt X, just as features from the current WeHunt app will remain and be included – along with brand new features and functions.
If I want to try the new app in the beta phase and transfer all my data from the current WeHunt or Tracker app, will my data still be in the original apps?
No data will be lost from the Tracker or WeHunt app, whether you choose to try WeHunt X or not. If you try the new app, you can choose to import your data from Tracker/Wehunt to properly try WeHunt X. You can do this as many times as you want, and nothing will be lost from the Wehunt/Tracker apps. NOTE: If you add new data to the new app, it is not possible to migrate the new data back to the old app, but the new data will follow the user even after February 2026 when the WeHunt X app replaces the WeHunt app.
Where can I download the new WeHunt X application?
You will be able to download the new WeHunt X from the App Store or Google Play. It will be temporarily called WeHunt X, as the current WeHunt application will continue to run in parallel. In February 2026, the WeHunt X app will replace the current WeHunt app. This transition will happen in the background, behind the WeHunt app store – meaning the WeHunt name will continue to be used after February 2026.
How can I purchase my WeHunt license once you have launched your new app?
If you already have a WeHunt Standard, Premium or GPS Max subscription, you don't need to do anything. Just continue to use the current WeHunt app and the new WeHunt X app as usual. Even after February 2026, there is no need to do anything on your part. As a paying customer, the transition to WeHunt X will be seamless – both when you try the app before the 26th. If you don't have a WeHunt subscription, you will need to purchase a subscription. WeHunt subscriptions can be purchased directly in the WeHunt mobile app (via Apple or Google) or on the WeHunt website. If you are already a paying customer, there is nothing you need to do after the 26th.
If I create a new ground in the beta app, WeHunt X, what will happen to it?

Yes, users will receive reminders through in-app messages before the deadline expires. This ensures that everyone has the opportunity to use their license codes in time and make a smooth transition to the new WeHunt X app. If you have a code, you can simply use it as normal until Feb 2026.
What is the process for returning unused codes, and how long does it take to receive a refund for returned codes?
For resellers: Please contact your local sales representative for guidance and support regarding code questions. For end users: License codes are non-returnable.
Will all Tracker features be available in the new WeHunt app?
Features that no one or very few people use will not be added to WeHunt X to avoid filling up the app with features and functions that we know (via our usage data and statistics) are not or very rarely used. Instead, we develop new features and functions that we know (from feedback, surveys, statistics, etc.) the community wants, resulting in an app that has a feature set that is highly valued and used by the user base.
Will the Tracker be hardware only and not have its own app?
Correct, Tracker devices will be used with the WeHunt app.
What will happen to the Tracker app in February 2026?
The Tracker app will be discontinued in February 2026 and will no longer be available for use after that.
Will I receive any notification before an update?
Yes, you will receive a message in the app asking you to update your WeHunt app.
