Tracker App - Tracking GPS devices and friends

Only the owner can add a device with its QR code or serial number
Other users can add it with an administrator or viewer code

- When the device is added with a viewer code or followed via group, only the basic information is visible
- The Device Owner and Administrator will see all available device information
- The information displayed in the Device Settings menu varies depending on the device and its make/model

To add a device:
Go to Main Menu -> Devices -> Plus-icon

Tracker Active/Bark
- The device is added by reading the device's own Tracker Easy QR code (found in the user manual and on the label on the device)
- Note! The QR code in the product package cannot be used to add a device
- If you are adding the device for the first time, make sure that the device's battery is fully charged, the device has been with power switched on for at least five minutes and taken outdoors, and that the device's LED flashes green every 3 seconds (Tracker Active) or flashing with 1 second intervals (Tracker Bark)
- Tap the button: "Read code"
 
Other Tracker device
- The device is added by reading the device's own Tracker Easy QR code (found in the device's packaging) with the phone's camera
- You can also enter the 15-character serial number of the device (found on the packaging of the device and on a sticker affixed to the device)
- If you are adding a device for the first time, make sure that the SIM card is inserted and that the device has been with power switched on for about five minutes
- Tap the button: "Read code"
 
Ultracom device
Ultracom R10i Hybrid, R10 Hybrid, R10i, R10, Avius
- All of these devices will be added by entering the device ID found on the first page of your device's manual or on the underside of the collar
- Switch on the device and take it out so that it has a good view of the satellites
- Tap the "Add" button

Ultracom Novus ja Koira/Hund GPS
- These devices are added by entering the device's phone number in international format and the name of the mobile operator's access point name (APN)
- Switch on the device and take it out so that it has a good view of the satellites
- Tap the "Add" button

Poro/Ren GPS
- The devices made 2015 or later will be added by the serial number
- If the device was made before 2015, it will be added by typing in the phone number in international format and the name of the mobile operator's access point name (APN)
- Switch on the device and take it out, as it has a good view of the satellite channels
- Tap the "Add" button
- You can find the serial of the Reindeer/Ren GPS device from the sticker on the device
 
Adding the device with Admin or Viewer code
To add a device:
- Open the main menu -> Devices -> Plus-icon
- Enter the code you received from the owner or administrator of the device
- Tap the "Add" button

The device is then found in the application's Targets menu
(button in the lower right corner of the map view)

- Tap "Dog profile" to select your own dog's profile for the device
- You can also create a completely new profile by selecting: "New Profile"
- The option "No profile" is also available

To remove a device:
- Open the Targets menu
- Tap the device's name
- Tap the trash can icon at the top of the Settings menu

If you are the Administrator or Viewer of the device, the device is just removed from Targets menu (the live service registration is not deleted)

If you are the Owner of the device, and you tap the Recycle Bin icon, the device will be removed from the Targets menu and the ownership of the device will be removed.

Ultracom-VHF-receiver
- First, make sure your phone has Bluetooth turned on
- Turn on the VHF receiver and wait for the blue light on the unit to flash
- Follow the on-screen instructions
- If VHF-receiver is having trouble connecting/staying connected
 


If you are not the owner of the device and have not added it to the application with an administrator or viewer code, then the device can only be tracked via a group

The same goes for following friends i.e. other hunters, as it only works via groups

As an owner or administrator, you can set up real-time tracking for your device via the live service:


Tracking the device

- Open the Targets menu with the button in the lower right corner of the App's map view
- Tap the icon in front of the name of the device you want to track
- The map view is centered on the latest location received from the device
- Drag the device's info menu up and open from the bottom of the map view
- Tap the "Clock" icon to adjust the mobile data tracking frequency or the "VHF receiver" icon to adjust the VHF tracking frequency (the device must support VHF tracking)

Device-specific differences:

The information, options, and settings displayed in the device's own info menu vary greatly depending on the device or its make/model

Similarly, when you tap the Settings icon at the device's info menu (the cog wheel icon), the information displayed, and the available settings vary depending on the device or device model

- Links work only if opened with Tracker App
- Send it by using SMS-message instead of SoMe applications
- Press and hold the hyperlink with Your finger, to open a pop-up menu, and then select Tracker App as the application to open the link with
